I was thinking about, on what my first blog post, could be... and I couldn't narrow it down on one thing... I just couldn't... for hours, I sat with that thought, but I still couldn't. Then, out of my anger on oneself, I told myself, to calm my senses and to write something, that would bring, most happiness and a sense of calmness, that nothing could bring me in. It was thinking about the place I was born... It's a city, that's fast paced like no other... and it's called, the city of dreams. It has got its own world of race, but the first fresh air, I breathe in, every single time when I land... is always a beautiful concoction of, a weird kind of, intoxication (a nasha), a sense of strength and confidence... and a warm blend of something. I cherish this feeling in me, every time when I am there and even when am not, as reminiscing that feeling, keeps me going. That concoction blended as I grew from when I was little, on a one misty cold morning, once, when I sat on the bamboo swing chair, on my uncle's balcony and was swinging, waiting for the faraway sun to bloom, between the enclosed, foggy mountains. Yet I vividly remember it ever, as I strongly believed, that there's a snow leopard out there, in that smog area, loitering around and weirdly, it calmed me down and made me smile, widely, due to the cocooned feeling I felt, whenever am with my family... giving out a slow sense of intoxication, that seeped inside, just when the first rays of sun, spread across. Followed by that, the memories of a slow awakening, from our afternoon naps, with chai and laughter with my Athai, in the kitchen, made me feel the strength and confidence, I ever feel inside, it's just the way she made me feel, whenever she is around. She's a beautiful mother and a nice elder to have in one's life... even after she left this world, still I could ever feel the confidence and strength, that she, embedded in me. Lastly, the fast-moving walks of the pedestrians, alongside the CST station, whilst the sun, brightens the minute detailing of, its architecture, snaily leaving a golden trail on its edifice, as it wanly dips down. Soaked in that moment, it makes me feel as ever, that the time has kind of slowed down, too, alongside the fast-paced race... that the world around me, is going on with. I would love, to live that moment, every single time when am there and, in my head, a zillion times, as it leaves me, with this warm smile and a calming, nasha feeling. Yet, the blend of colours from pinks, orange and a good spread of warm golden hues and reds, along with a nice streak of purple, across the ether, dipping down into the horizon, kissing the sea, as it leaves, making the Haji Ali Dargah, to look like a warm, yet a black silhouette, at the backdrop of these unfurled colours, gives inside a nice warmth, of a long hug... till it slips away, to blend in, with the magical night sky. That moment, ever and ever, holds me captivated, to be in one with nature and its whimsical displays, giving out the warmest ahasas (feeling), one could bag in... I terribly miss being there and to feel the first blend of my fresh air... yet, am reminiscing it until I can have, all of it, over once again... Until then... I can ever & ever, cherish the warmthness, within...

About Me

Hey explorer,

Welcome in, to my cozy corner... I have always wondered, why am I, so drawn to the sunsets, every single day, as if it's my first time? The answer seeped in, in no time, as I was viewing a sunset... It makes me be, so alive on that moment... so much more present and captivated on that, unfolding event... I hope that my writings, bring in, that warm feeling, as one's soaked by, the last rays of the sunsets.
